Advanced Pet Care of Oakland

We bring all our animals to Advanced pet care. We brought our youngest 1 and a half year old kitten in on Tuesday July 18th. Hailey became extensively over night. Not understanding she was in acute liver failure. The team put her on IV fluids and anti nausea meds along with pain relief. By Thursday we were doing a ultrasound. Our angels ultrasound showed fluid on the heart and on her stomach which was not there Tuesday. Our kitten was then diagnosed with FLP and all her organs liver and kidneys, heart and lungs had been affected. They tried everything for our girl. Thought she was the sweetest and most beautiful kitten. By the time the news of the ultrasound was done. Recommendations were to be kind and do what was best for her. There was nothing else that could be done. They gave our family plenty of time to hold and see and say goodbye to our Angel Hailey 😇. As they put her to rest in my arms. They shaved some of her hair for us to keep and made stone paw prints and nose prints. Removed all her lines and bandages. Before putting her in a box to rest. Everyone there worked on Hailey and they were touched by her and just as surprised and devastated 💔 by her end prognosis. We would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that took such good care of our girl her last final days. To the constant updates and being so kind with our requests and time to say our goodbyes. The year and a half we had with our sweet girl was too short. Yet so full of love ❤️ and memories. She was very unique. Wishing we had so many more. Our other 3 cats have been going here also for 10 years. They take excellent care of all furbabies. Our hearts are truly broken 💔 over our loss of our girl. Yet we know they and we also did everything for her. That there was no cure. She was not in pain due to thier care and us. Even though this did not end well or on a happy note for her or us. I would highly recommend Advanced Pet Care of Oakland. Thank you so much agian to everyone of the team. From Hailey and Haileys family. I’d give 6 stars if I could. The hours are very reasonable and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and patient with questions and concerns. The Paw Plans they offer provide and affordable way to keep your pet happy and healthy and up to date on whatever they may need. I never miss an opportunity to recommend Advanced Pet Care of Oakland.

These doctors all have a big heart. When your pet has a problem that needs attention sooner than later, they will always fit your pet in to their fully booked day. They always take the best care of my fur baby with concern and full attention to make sure she has the best care. You can count on a follow up call to make sure your pet is getting better. Best place ever.

I would highly recommend this vet office to anyone looking for the best possible care for their furry family. The staff is very warm and friendly with your best interest always in mind. My pitbull mix has gone through 2 major surgeries here and has received above and beyond treatment and after-care. Dr. Karagosian performs beautiful TPLO surgeries on all breeds and sizes at a very competitive rate with short wait periods. The in-house lab is also a huge bonus for quick test results and immediate answers for whatever it is your pet might be going through. I appreciate everything they've done for my family and will continue to use them for everything from wellness checks to invasive procedures. Thanks, APCO!

We adopted 2 Maltese girls about 4 years ago. They came from a severe hoarding/breeding situation which has caused them a lot of physical and emotional issues. The amazing vets and staff have worked with us to come up with the best possible plan of care. Everyone has been so kind, patient and professional while caring for them. Our little girls are now thriving in their new life with us. I highly recommend Advanced Pet Care to all of our friends and family.
